Greenmission has developed Ctrl-Bar for Tesla – with NewTracks as a key development partner and manufacturer.
Ctrl-Bar is a control unit that is mounted on the screen in the car, and gives Tesla Model 3/Y owners a functionality that many have missed, namely physical buttons with a good tactile feel. With two precise rotary switches and six programmable buttons, the driver gets a new level of control without having to take his eyes off the road.
– This is a typical project we love to work on, namely taking a project from the entrepreneurial stage all the way to series production, says Julius Espedal, CEO of NewTracks.
A collaboration we love
The collaboration with Greenmission started in 2022, and also includes production of the wireless mobile charger Tesla Wireless Charger 2. Behind the company is entrepreneur Vetle Husby. – Founders like Vetle are fun to work with, he has a lot of ideas that we can make possible for a large market, says Espedal.
– NewTracks has been crucial for us to get to where we are today, says Vetle Husby, who established Greenmission at the age of 18.

Quality production in China
Ctrl-Bar is mounted under the screen in the car, and is made of black glass with aluminum details. In addition to the buttons, Ctrl-Bar has a display for displaying information and LED lights on the underside for ambient light in the cabin. A future software update will integrate speed and speed camera alerts via subscription.
Ctrl-Bar is manufactured in China, where NewTracks collaborates with several factories.
– We have our own office in Schenzen that ensures quality and follows up on production all the way, says Espedal.

NewTracks has offices in Oslo and Shenzhen
and works with product development and quality production in China.
