Greenmission has developed Ctrl-Bar for Tesla – with NewTracks as a key development partner and manufacturer.Â
Ctrl-Bar is a control unit that is mounted on the screen in the car, and gives Tesla Model 3/Y owners a functionality that many have missed, namely physical buttons with a good tactile feel. With two precise rotary switches and six programmable buttons, the driver gets a new level of control without having to take his eyes off the road.
– This is a typical project we love to work on, namely taking a project from the entrepreneurial stage all the way to series production, says Julius Espedal, CEO of NewTracks.
A collaboration we loveÂ
The collaboration with Greenmission started in 2022, and also includes production of the wireless mobile charger Tesla Wireless Charger 2. Behind the company is entrepreneur Vetle Husby. – Founders like Vetle are fun to work with, he has a lot of ideas that we can make possible for a large market, says Espedal.  Â
– NewTracks has been crucial for us to get to where we are today, says Vetle Husby, who established Greenmission at the age of 18.

Quality production in China
Ctrl-Bar is mounted under the screen in the car, and is made of black glass with aluminum details. In addition to the buttons, Ctrl-Bar has a display for displaying information and LED lights on the underside for ambient light in the cabin. A future software update will integrate speed and speed camera alerts via subscription.Â
Ctrl-Bar is manufactured in China, where NewTracks collaborates with several factories.
– We have our own office in Schenzen that ensures quality and follows up on production all the way, says Espedal. Â

NewTracks has offices in Oslo and Shenzhen
and works with product development and quality production in China.
