Etched steel manufacturing

For components with small details or very thin material, etching might be the best production method. On request from customers, NewTracks now has quality assured one factory in China for etching. Very small details can be etched, with tolerances as small as 0,01 mm.

The process is often used for filters, or EMC shielding boxes for PCBs. For large series, the process is fully automised, whilst for semi-automised for smaller volume.

The production has a high level of quality assurance both for dimensions and materials.

Half-etching is possible, where only text or symbols are etched into, but not through the material. This is used to make bending lines or text/logos
